We are located in Bonita, California. Bonita is Spanish for beautiful and Bonita is certainly that. Bonita Valley is ten miles south of San Diego and two miles from the Pacific Ocean. San Diego is renowned for having the most perfect climate in the world and we LOVE it.
The Bentley Priory Cavaliers live at "Dove Cottage," which is on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Bonita Valley.

Its been said by many visitors that going to Dove Cottage and the Bentley Priory Cavaliers is like going to the Magic Kingdom. Over a hundred white doves fly around the property, playing in the fountain and birdbaths. Rescued California Desert Tortoises (with their phone number on their shells) wander the grounds. On the patio, hiding from the Herons, huge friendly Japanese Koi come to the surface of the pond gasping for you to feed them. The bluebell wood is inviting you to go sit on the old rustic seat under a huge tree and it is here that the Cavaliers and the "oddball" English Setter like to play.
Under the influence of the gentle sea breezes, our Cavaliers can romp in the garden year round.
